Sea Cruise - 2008

Sea Cruise 2008. The weather was sunny, windy & cold, but the car car show and dance were HOT. Seven of our cars made it down to Crescent City this year, and along with our friends from the Sothern Oregon Muscle Car Club, we managed to pick up a number of trophies. Dave Wills (our president), and Jeff Gerber (our V. P.), both won first place in their class. In addition Jim Davis won a first place in his class, not with his Corvette, but with his all stock 1957 Chevy.
And we ate. Friday night at The Chart Room we ate and watched the Sea Lions. Saturday, Marga took orders for sandwiches, which she got for us from Safeway, and we ate some more. It was back to the Chart Room for some Saturday evening to, yes, eat some more. And then it was on to the Fairgrounds for Rocky & The Revellettes. WOW, what a show. We are so excited that we will be having them to entertain us at Corvette Weekend 2009. The dance floor was packed all night as they did music from the 50s and 60s, just the way we remembered it.
Sea Cruise is a great way to bring the year to a close, and this year was no exception. Now it's time to put the Vettes away for the winter, look forward to our annual Christmas party and make plans for next year.
