Parades, A Road Cruise & Food
The Pear Blossom & Magical Merlin Parades & A Cruise To Seven Feathers
Winter is over, Spring has come, and with it the start of another great Corvette year.
April 11th found 14 SOCA Corvettes snaking down Main Street in Medford in the Annual Pear Blossom Festival Parade.
The weather this year was perfect and after the parade, we all enjoyed a great lunch at the Roadhouse Grill.
Speaking of good food, on April 19th, another 14 SOCA Corvettes headed up I-5 to the Seven Feathers Resort & Casino for their fabulous Sunday Brunch. After lunch a number of our members headed for the casino to win back the cost of their Brunch, or not. Seven Feathers has been a great supporter of many past SOCA events, and in fact will again be a Major Sponsor of the 2009 Corvette Weekend. Thanks, Seven Feathers, for all your great support.

Next up was the Annual Magical Merlin Parade, In Downtown Merlin, a small town with a big spirit.
Unfortunately Saturday morning May 2nd dawned gray and wet. The forecast promised showers all morning.
This did not deter a group of hardy SOCA members, who, in spite of the weather, showed up with seven shiny Corvettes that lit up the parade through the raindrops. After the parade we headed out the Merlin-Galice road to the Galice Resort for a great lunch. The folks who elected to leave their cars under cover in the garage, missed out on a great time.
The next big item on the agenda is our Fourth Annual Candlelighters Fun Day on June 13th.
This is a great day for not only the Candlelighter Kids and their families, but for us as well. This is one of the most fun and rewarding days of our year, bringing big smiles to the faces of all the neat kids and their families.
