The weather guys predicted a beautiful Southern Oregon day, and sure enough, the day dawned clear and sunny and warmed up into the mid 80s. An absolutely delightful day to gather together a great collection of America's Sports Car. Thirtysix Corvettes came out to our Sponsoring Dealer, Jim Sigel Chevrolet. Twentythree cars from SOCA and another 13 came from five other Clubs, and from the general public. Cars ranged from 1960 to 2009 and included bone stock, modified bodies and engines, and beautiful custom paint jobs.

We had a great raffle for the benefit of our Charity, Candlelighter's For Kids With Cancer, www.4kidswithcancer.org The above picture on the left, is of one of the little guys and his mom that are helped so much by this great organization. And on the right is Michelle Morgan the Southern Oregon Chairperson of Candlelighters. At the conclusion of the raffle we were able to present Michelle with $500 to help in thier great work.
Class and Best In Show trophies, along with "Goodie Bags" provided by Jim Sigel Chevrolet were awarded to:

Immediately following the Car Show at Jim Sigel Chevrolet, Forty Club Members gathered at Len and Marga's home for the ninth annual Club Picnic and Bar-B-Q. Horseshoes, Hula Hoops and a Blindfold Golf Cart Race were the warm up for the food. And there was plenty of food, Grilled Terriyaki Tri-Tip, Fried Chicken, Salads and Tons of wonderful deserts. Lots of fun and good fellowship, is what this club is all about, and that is what everyone enjoyed at the picnic.
